55 - Outwitting Squirrels

They were smarter than him;
that much was clear.
They scavenged his yard,
both the far side and near.
They took his Corvette
out for a spin!
Some days it felt
like he never would win.
He needed a resource,
that much was sure,
and he hoped that this book
would soon be the cure.

Wow, they're even worse than the squirrels that chew their way in and make their home in my mother's roof.

Sometimes a lighthearted romp on Good Friday is just the ticket. I LOVE "they took his corvette out for a spin!" I bet they'd at least get under the hood. Have a great weekend!

It would help if they weren't also agile.

There's no love lost between me and squirrels - the bane of my garden.

As a rabbit person, squirrels are my natural enemy. I don't give a damn that they are cute and chitter chattery. Their tails are too long and their ears too short. Instead of holes in the ground, they live in trees. Nope, I don't understand squirrels.
