This is a weighty silence..i like the use of brackets..like a split in the voice...sometimes collusion can make you feel belonging..other times perhaps it sets you (uncomfortably) apart..
Yep, you've done it again, woman. This is my struggle, too -- only, I'm tired of protecting someone who relies on that protection to continue to be reprehensible.
