Sunday 160: The Hermit

He says he's praying for universal love and happiness; the salvation of the world. He spends his days in contemplation of peace. Why, then, is he such a grouch?

This was inspired by Days 44-45 of my fiction blog, Diana's Diary.

Monkey Man hosts the Sunday 160. Write something in 160 characters or less!

Maybe because he doesn't see his prayers being answered and even a hermit is, after all human, and cannot escape impatience and disappointment.

Without having read any other of your works, this still presents a nice little cameo of an image of a person.Good 160.

It's a lot of work to make the world a better place. I guess he saves the smiles for the bigger picture!
