55 - Goal-Setting

It's important to have a goal; that's what Mother said. You can't go through life without a purpose.

Taking her at her word, he set an objective and marked each day's progress.

Sometimes he wondered if it was all it was cracked up to be. Then again, Mom never said his goal must have meaning.

Got a story you can tell in 55 words? The G-Man wants to know!

I liked this 55 so much. It made me think of the little (and big) goals we set...and how often we miss the mark, but find something else in the process. Yeah, you can't mess with Mother's advice. :)

Lol. Maybe some of my goals could use revising.

If it's fun, do it!
That's something I'm having to relearn; to let things be fun and to do things that are fun.

I sometimes feel this way when I've been working real hard on a video game.

I prefer very short-term goals as I have learned we control very little in our lives... at least in mine. God likes to through curve balls ;)
