New flash fiction, this time about Jay and David met: Ira Quod Ruina

Those two really are an odd pair, with David being so harsh and Galahad so high-minded.
July 29, 2010 at 11:34 AMI agree. In the beginning, it was mutual anger that made them allies. After the whole thing with Trina, though, it was shared guilt and secrets. There's a level at which Galahad thinks he can bring David around, but after Leila gets killed, there's no hope of salvaging him.
July 29, 2010 at 11:47 AMYeah, I actually was with Galahad in hoping he'd turn around through most of the book, but after Leila, and especially after what he tries to do at the end of the book.... Well, I'm glad he ends up the way he does, though when I read it I was surprised.
